Terms of service

Draft placeholder for professional review. Not yet a binding policy.

This document is a template prepared for review by qualified legal counsel. It must be reviewed and finalised before live launch.

1. The service

SkyPay provides software that lets sellers create products, accept payments through third-party payment providers and receive provider-managed payouts. SkyPay is not a bank, a deposit-taking institution or a licensed payment processor. Funds are held and settled by the applicable provider under its own terms.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must be legally able to operate a business in your country and must complete the identity and business verification required by the payment provider before accepting live payments.

3. Fees

Platform fees are disclosed before you connect a provider and recorded on each transaction. Provider processing fees are charged by the provider. Fees are not charged on failed payments.

4. Prohibited uses

See the acceptable use policy. Accounts used for prohibited goods or services may be restricted or terminated.

5. Refunds, disputes and chargebacks

Sellers are responsible for refunds and chargebacks relating to their sales, subject to the provider's rules. SkyPay may recover such amounts from future proceeds where permitted.

6. Limitation of liability
